Message from the Chair

From July 16 until October 15, the next phase of the My Health Record is rolling out with the opportunity to opt out of having a government electronic health record created.

The My Health record (MHR) began in 2012 as the PCEHR (Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record) and has been through several iterations of ways of enrolling, what can be uploaded and how it can be interacted with. While it is far from a perfect platform for sharing patient information, none of the other players in the space have yet managed to crack it either.
