Presented by Dr Vicki Bennett and Devinia Binell, the aim of this workshop is to equip your team with practical tools including Aboriginal Adult Health Checks (MBS 715) and an understanding of the common health issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

The presentation will also allow general practice staff to fulfil their cultural awareness requirements for the Practice Incentives Program Indigenous Health Incentive (PIP IHI).

“To meet this requirement, at least two staff members from the practice (one must be a GP) must complete appropriate cultural awareness training within 12 months of the practice signing on to the incentive"
