Delay to Self-collection for Cervix Screening
The Commonwealth has advised that the option for eligible women to self-collect a cervical sample will not be available from 1 December due to delays in the process of accreditation of the tests.
Important information about the National Cervical Screening Program and women under 25
Cervical screening is not recommended in the renewed program for women under 25 years. Some women under 25 will present with an expectation for screening, having had previous Pap tests.
